Staff Respect

  • At Penrith Cardiology, we are committed to providing a respectful, safe, and professional environment for all. This includes our secretaries, nurses, echocardiographers, and doctors.

    We kindly ask that all patients and visitors treat our staff with courtesy and respect at all times. Abusive, aggressive, or inappropriate behaviour will not be tolerated and may result in the refusal of service, termination of care, and/or the contacting of appropriate authorities.

Illness Arrangements

  • Please DO NOT enter our centre if you:

    • have fever, cough or dyspnoea (breathing difficulty)

    • have experienced cold or flu-like symptoms

    • have been in contact with somebody with COVID-19.

    • live in a household with a person who is currently isolating.

    • are waiting for a COVID-19 test result (unless for screening/surveillance purposes only)

  • Mask Wearing

    All patients and visitors must wear a mask if you have cold or flu symptoms.

  • Experiencing Symptoms

    Should you be experiencing cold or flu symptoms including a cough, runny nose and/or a temperature, please call, email, or contact us through this site in order to rebook your appointment.

  • Infection Control

    Providing a safe environment for you is critical and we have increased the frequency of cleaning rounds in our centre.

    Mask wearing is mandatory for anyone with respiratory and/or nasal passage symptoms.

    Hand sanitiser is widely available upon entry and throughout our centre, and we urge all patients, visitors and staff to practice thorough and frequent hand washing.

    We adhere to the National Health and Medical Research Council guidelines and work closely with state and federal governments to maintain the best practices for keeping you safe.

Confidentiality Disclaimer

  • At Penrith Cardiology, we are committed to maintaining the highest standards of patient confidentiality. In accordance with the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) and the Health Records and Information Privacy Act (NSW), our staff are bound by strict privacy protocols and do not share personal or medical information outside the practice.

    We respectfully request that patients also refrain from sharing medical or personal information about their care or practitioners outside the practice, to ensure the privacy and integrity of all involved.
